In addition to his three decades of experience in smithing, Charles Adams also has 30+ years experience in Escrima blade fighting and is a fourth-degree black belt in Isshinryu Karate. Escrima is a style of Filipino stick and sword fighting that teaches the use of and defense against blades of all types. Isshinryu is a primarily empty-hand style of karate with an emphasis on simple technique.
